Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and United States President Donald Trump agreed to end the conflict in Gaza and expand the Abraham Accords, The Times of Israel reports.
According to the Israeli daily, Netanyahu agreed to end the fighting within two weeks during a phone call with Trump after the US strikes on Iran.
“Four Arab states, including the UAE and Egypt, would jointly govern the Gaza Strip in place of Hamas,” The Times of Israel reported. “The group’s leadership would be exiled, and all hostages would be released.”
The paper noted, however, that Arab countries would not get involved in governing Gaza unless the Palestinian Authority was granted an opportunity to participate in governing the Strip.
