The Israeli military has admitted that it fired shots earlier today at individuals about half a kilometre from the aid distribution site of the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation in the enclave, according to Reuters.
The individuals were moving towards forces in a way that “posed a threat to them”, the military claimed in a statement.
It added that it was “aware of reports regarding casualties, and the details of the incident are being looked into”.
