The US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has opened a third aid distribution site in the Palestinian enclave and said that since it began operations earlier this week it has handed out about 1,838,182 meals, Reuters reports.

“Operations will continue scaling across all four sites, with plans to build additional sites across Gaza, including in the northern region, in the weeks ahead,” the foundation said in a statement.
