11 more students caught cheating in inter exams in Pindi

RAWALPINDI: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Monday caught 11 more students cheating in the mathematics paper during the ongoing Intermediate Annual Examination 2025, and suspended the invigilator for violating the examination standard operating procedures.

In five papers of the examinations, a total of 37 candidates were caught red-handed.

According to BISE Rawalpindi spokesman Arslan Cheema, 11 candidates were caught red-handed for cheating in examination centres of Government Graduate Commerce College New Phagwari Satellite Town Rawalpindi, Government College Buchhal Kalan Chakwal, Government Girls College Fatehjang Attock, Government Higher Secondary School (combined) Basharat. Chakwal.

He said they were caught with the help of online monitoring cameras using modern technology.

Teams were immediately sent to these centres, and an unfair means case was registered against them and sent to the Board Office of the Government of Punjab, he added.

Mr Cheema said BISE Chairman Mohammad Adnan Khan made a surprise visit to various examination centres and inspected Government Shehbaz Sharif Degree College Khayaban-i-Sir Syed, Government High School Khayaban-i-Sir Syed, Government Commerce College New Phagwari Rawalpindi.

During the visit, he said the BISE chairman caught a candidate red-handed while copying at the examination centre in Government Graduate Commerce College New Phagwari Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. He said the chairman took strict notice and directed immediate action.
