ISLAMABAD: Employees of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) have urged the Executive Director (ED) Dr Rana Imran Sikander to play role in restoration and enhancement of health risk allowance of the employees.

They were speaking to the ED while congratulating him over his promotion in basic pay scale (BPS) 21.

Leader of the Federal Health Alliance (FHA) Chaudhry Qamar Gujjar said that as Dr Sikander has got the promotion and has become a stronger candidate to become permanent ED, he should play his role in formulating the service structure of the Class IV employees.

“We expect that the ED will do efforts to revive the health risk allowance. Currently employees are facing severe financial issues and once they will be mentally satisfied, they will be able to serve the patients better,” he said.

Mr Gujjar said that the ED should also do efforts to make the institution one of the best in Pakistan and a role model for other health institutions.
