KARACHI: A woman was killed in the Manghopir area on Friday, police said.

They said that 18-year-old Razia Ali Gohar was shot and killed in her home in the Khairabad area near Aman Chowk.

The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The police said that Razia, a married woman, was apparently killed over some domestic dispute. However, further investigations were underway and police were trying to locate her spouse, they added.

Stabbed to death

A 22-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her home in Green Town within the remit of the Shah Faisal Colony police station on Friday, police said.

They identified the victim as Laiba Abdullah and said that she was killed over a family dispute.

The police said efforts were underway to find her husband. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
