Seven Palestinians were killed this morning in Israeli airstrikes targeting a house west of Rafah and another in the Daraj neighbourhood in Gaza City, reports the Wafa news agency.

Several others were wounded from the attack, it said.

Israeli artillery also shelled southern areas of Rafah, causing casualties, alongside targeting another area in central Rafah. Explosions and intense gunfire were reported in the neighbourhoods of Tel al-Sultan and Saudi west of Rafah.

Israeli warplanes also targeted the towns of Abasan and Khuza’a east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, Wafa added.
