Israeli military claims to have killed ‘Hamas weapons smuggler’ in southern Gaza
Israel’s military claims it struck dozens of targets in Gaza overnight, including fighter cells, tunnel shafts and other sites, Al Jazeera reports.
One strike in southern Gaza killed a Hamas member — identified as Wissam Abu Ashak — who directed the transfer of weapons through the Rafah crossing, according to the military.
Another strike hit a rocket launch site in Rafah equipped with “ready-to-fire rockets”, it said.
