Gaza’s health ministry sounds alarm on depleting medication

The ministry has warned that health facilities in Gaza are either devoid of or about to run out of critical supplies, including medication necessary to perform surgery and treat kidney and cancer patients, Al Jazeera reports.

Health centres also lack medicine for maternal health and reproductive and psychiatric medication, it said.

The ministry called on the international community to “quickly intervene and provide the necessary needs of medicines and medical supplies to save the lives of patients and injured people”.
