QUETTA: Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Ahmed Nosherwani will present the provincial budget for the financial year 2024-25 on Friday (today), instead of Saturday as announced earlier.

According to officials, the decision to present the budget one day earlier was taken at a high-level meeting presided over by the chief minister.

However, the reason for changing the date was not disclosed.

Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail convened the Balochistan Assembly’s budget session on June 21 (Friday), at 4pm. An official notification in this regard was issued late on Thursday.
