Responding to reports of infiltration of Israeli airspace by a “hostile aircraft”, the Israeli military said a “suspicious aerial target” came down “in the surrounding area” after crossing “the territory of the Gaza Strip”, Al Jazeera reports.

There were no injuries “and the incident is over”, the Israeli military said in a brief post on social media that did not provide details as to the possible type or likely origin of the aircraft.
