Slovenia announces 2.5 million euros towards victims of war in Gaza
Slovenia will give €2.5 million to those affected by the fighting in Gaza, with around €1 million ($1.08m) allocated for Palestinians through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs said in a statement, Al Jazeera reports.
Meanwhile, another €1 million will be allocated to the UN’s World Food Programme and the remaining €500,000 will be assigned “to health and psychosocial rehabilitation projects” for victims of the fighting in Gaza.
The ministry said it has given €4.3 million in humanitarian aid to Palestinians so far since fighting broke out on October 7.
