Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad expressed “readiness to positively” reach a deal to end the conflict in Gaza in a joint statement on Tuesday.

They added that they submitted their response to the proposed Gaza ceasefire deal to Qatari and Egyptian mediators.
