The health ministry in Gaza has reported that “large numbers” of dead and injured are arriving at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah amid the IDF’s intensive operation in central Gaza’s Nuseirat, Times of Israel reports.

The IDF said earlier in an unusual statement that it was striking targets in Nuseirat. The military is due to release more information later today.
