The Israeli military has said a 21-year-old sergeant in the parachute brigade of the 101st Battalion was killed fighting in northern Gaza while another member of the unit was seriously injured, Al Jazeera reports.

In southern Gaza, two soldiers with Israel’s Combat Engineering Corps were seriously wounded in fighting and evacuated to Israel for medical treatment.
