ISLAMABAD: The capital police have launched a ‘Mechanic on wheels’ service to help motorists.
A spokesman for Islamabad Traffic Police said following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the ITP launched the service.
“Mechanic on wheels” service has been launched by the ITP to assist citizens in case of their vehicle or motorcycle breaks down on roads. Citizens can call the traffic police helpline “1915” to avail of the service 24/7.
“The ITP are diligently and honestly performing their duties to ensure the provision of assistance and travel facilities to citizens. The purpose of launching the ‘Mechanic on Wheels’ service is to alleviate the difficulties faced by citizens during travel,” said the spokesman in a statement.
