Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has received a phone call from United Nations chief Antonio Guterres where they discussed Gaza truce talks and the “huge humanitarian consequences” of an Israeli military operation in Rafah, the Egyptian presidency said according to Reuters.
