A Palestinian doctor in Gaza’s southernmost town Rafah has revealed how newborns were being abandoned at the neonatal ICU by parents.

In an Instagram post, Dr Majed Jaber described how when medical staff try to reach out to the parents most of them do not respond and the ones that do, provide heartbreaking reasons.
