US State Dept says humanitarian aid into Gaza improving but more needed

US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has said the United States has seen steady progress in the amount of aid that goes into Gaza but that it is still not at the desired level and Washington is working to improve that, Reuters reports.

Speaking at a daily briefing, Miller also said Washington was yet to be briefed in detail on details for the evacuation of civilians from Rafah or humanitarian considerations ahead of a possible Israeli military offensive on the southern Gazan city.
