Jordan’s King Abdullah II has spoken to US President Joe Biden and discussed the latest developments in the region and the path to reduce escalation and reach a ceasefire deal in Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

“During the call, His Majesty the King stressed the need to stop the escalation immediately in the region, warning that any Israeli escalatory measures would lead to expanding the circle of conflict in the region,” the Jordanian monarchy said in a social media post.
