World Central Kitchen has said an off-duty staff member named Amro was badly injured in an Israeli air strike on April 1, the same day seven other workers of the charity were killed in an attack on their convoy, Al Jazeera reports.

The Palestinian was pulled from the rubble of a residential building in Deir el-Balah after an Israeli strike hit a nearby mosque, the WCK said in a post on X.

The attack took place just 15 minutes before the WCK convoy was hit, it added.
