More than 60 per cent of Gaza homes damaged or destroyed, says UN agency

Many people in Gaza will have no secure place to return after the conflict ends, with 62 per cent of the enclave’s residences damaged or destroyed by Israeli attacks, according to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), Al Jazeera reports.

“Over 75pc of the population have been displaced — the majority multiple times.” UNRWA said.
