The Pakistan Ulema Council has declared Friday (today) as “Peace for Palestine Day”, to create awareness about the Palestine issue and advocate for its peaceful resolution.
PUC Chairman Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi and other religious scholars of the country are set to discuss and highlight the Palestine issue in their Friday sermons.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Maulana Ashrafi called upon the world powers to intervene and halt ongoing atrocities being perpetrated by Israel on the people of Gaza.
