Praising Portugal’s announcement of €10m voluntary contribution for humanitarian aid in Gaza, UN agency’s Philippe Lazzarini thanked foreign minister João Cravinho.

“Your decision comes at a time of unprecedented challenges and will support our efforts to reverse the impact of the looming famine in Gaza and to provide lifeline services to Palestine refugees across the region,” the UNRWA’s commissioner general said.
