The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) has said that the situation in Gaza Strip is “beyond desperate”.

In a post on X, it said, “Scott Anderson met UNRWA staff [and] still working despite unspeakable challenges and visited Kamal Adwan Hospital.”

“Fuel and medical supplies were delivered, but aid is just a trickle. Food needs to reach the north now to avert famine,” it asserted.
