The Israeli military says it is continuing to conduct “precise operations” in al-Shifa Hospital, with its forces killing 150 fighters in or around the facility in the last day and apprehending “hundreds of suspects”, Al Jazeera reports.

Over the past 24 hours, Israeli troops also killed fighters in close-quarter combat in al-Qarara of northern Khan Younis, while killing others by sniper fire in central Gaza, the military said in its latest update.

Israeli fighter jets meanwhile struck 40 targets from the air, including “launch pits and military compounds”, the military statement said.

Israel’s latest attacks in Gaza have also killed dozens of civilians, including in its siege of al-Shifa, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
