Hezbollah says it struck forces in northern Israel
The Lebanese group Hezbollah has said it targeted a mechanised Israeli military force at the Birkat Risha outpost in northern Israel with a missile strike, Al Jazeera reports.
The attack achieved a direct hit, Hezbollah’s statement said, adding that it caused damage and started a fire.
The Israeli media reported earlier that rocket sirens sounded in northern Israel and an antitank missile landed in the region of Upper Galilee.
