Israeli forces shelled a group of people trying to pick herbs in Beit Hanoon in northern Gaza, where extreme food shortages have driven many residents to the brink of starvation, Al Jazeera reports citing the Palestinian Wafa news agency.

The attack killed three civilians and injured seven, the news agency said.

Also in northern Gaza City, Wafa reported that the latest round of Israeli air strikes killed at least 10 civilians and wounded five.
