The UN Security Council will hold a closed-door meeting, an updated schedule showed, following the chaotic incident during a Gaza food aid delivery, which the Palestinian authorities say resulted in over 100 deaths.

The emergency meeting at UN headquarters in New York, which will be held at 4:15pm (2115 GMT), was requested by Algeria, a diplomatic source told AFP.
