At least 29,878 Palestinians have been killed and 70,215 injured in Israel’s assault on Gaza since Oct.7, the health ministry in Gaza has said in a statement, Reuters reports.

In the last 24 hours, 96 Palestinians have been killed and 172 injured, the ministry added.
