Al Jazeera correspondents on the ground in Gaza are reporting heavy, intense bombing in the neighbourhoods of Zeitoun and Shujayea in eastern Gaza.
Residents are being ordered to evacuate through Salah al-Din Street, Gaza’s main highway, to Al-Mawasi area in western Khan Younis, the publication said.
“The bombing is targeting the remaining residential buildings in these two neighbourhoods and causing further internal displacement. There are reports of bodies on the streets as well as many wounded,” Al Jazeera reported.
