At least 27,708 Palestinians have been killed and 67,147 injured in Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7, the Gaza health ministry has said in a statement, Reuters reports.

In the past 24 hours, 123 Palestinians were killed and 169 were injured in Israeli strikes, the ministry added.
