Are voters swayed by election manifestoes? Reading through the documents, it appears that the political leaders do not think so. While each manifesto promises aplenty, it also exalts the achievements of each party. One wonders that if each party was indeed so proactive towards the welfare of the people, how then did the sorry state of economic affairs come to pass? Below are certain promises cherry-picked and compared, though none explain where the funds will come from in an entirely debt-dependent country.
