Dozens of Israeli settlers under the protection of police have stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, Al Jazeera reports, citing Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Witnesses said they entered in separate groups and conducted mock tours through the mosque’s courtyards.
