Sirens have blared in Tel Aviv, an AFP journalist said, the first warning of incoming rocket fire in several weeks as the Israel-Hamas fighting rages in Gaza.

Hamas said it fired at the Israeli commercial hub in response to “massacres against civilians” in the Gaza Strip, where the group has battled Israeli forces since early October.
