Argentina’s right-wing President Javier Milei has said that he will visit Israel in the “coming weeks”, leaning into a campaign promise that he would cultivate stronger ties with countries such as the United States and Israel, Al Jazeera reports.

Speaking at an event in the capital of Buenos Aires today, Milei signaled support for Israel’s war on Gaza and said the country would “not remain silent in the face of Hamas terror”.
