Hundreds of Jordanians protest in solidarity with Gaza
Hundreds of Jordanians are protesting in the capital city Amman in solidarity with Palestinians, calling for an end to the blockade on Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.
The protest, organised by the National Gathering for Resistance Support (a syndicate party), started from Al-Husseini Mosque in the downtown area, reaching Al-Nakheel Square, covering a distance of one kilometre, according to an Anadolu Agency correspondent.
Despite the heavy rain and adverse weather conditions, protesters carried banners with slogans such as “Open the Rafah Crossing” and “Break the blockade”.
