Israel’s military has announced the death of a soldier in Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

Sergeant First Class Uriel Aviad Silberman, 23, was killed during fighting in southern Gaza over the weekend, the military said.

The latest death brings the total number of Israeli casualties since the start of Israel’s ground offensive to 195, according to Israeli officials.
