At least 16 people killed following Israeli bombardment on shelters

At least 16 people were killed in that attack with others injured in eastern Rafah where Israeli forces shelled a home sheltering three families, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Rafah, southern Gaza.

“This shows how Rafah is becoming increasingly dangerous. People are everywhere – on the sidewalks and in tents – trying to get away from the horror of the bombs and missiles,” said Mahmoud.

He said, “Rafah is so overcrowded, a single missile can kill a large number of people. This is why we are seeing so many casualties from every air strike. Most of the victims are women and children because they are the ones most likely to be sheltering in tents and homes.”
