The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, a think tank, has said that Israel’s contention that the intention to destroy a people, in whole or in part, was “totally lacking” rings “hollow in light of the overwhelming evidence of genocidal rhetoric from senior Israeli officials, journalists and Israeli military and society”.
