Iraq said it condemned the US-British attack on Yemen which it said could expand the scope of the ongoing conflict, Reuters reports.

“We believe that expanding the scope of targeting does not represent a solution, but rather leads to widening the war”, the foreign ministry said in a statement, adding that it still stresses the need to preserve the freedom of navigation in international waters.
