World Health Organisation (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has called on Israel to approve requests submitted by WHO and other groups seeking to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

“Delivering humanitarian aid in Gaza continues to face nearly insurmountable challenges,” Ghebreyesus said in a post on his X account.

“We have the supplies, the teams and the plans in place. What we don’t have is access,” he said.
