“Another targeted strike. Another member of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah killed”, Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports.

“The latest attack was an overnight strike. It killed a Hezbollah member who was in a house in the village of Kfarchouba, which is close to the Israeli border. He is the sixth member of the group killed in a strike in the last 48 hours,” she said.

“This is not the first time we’ve seen such an attack in the ongoing conflict. We’ve seen Israeli drone strikes target cars carrying Hezbollah members, Israeli strikes on homes belonging to Hezbollah members. But in the past few days, we’ve seen the frequency of these attacks grow. They also seem to be more targeted.

“It is an intelligence war. Israel is definitely relying on its drones, which are in the skies 24-7. It is also relying on intelligence on the ground. There is concern there are people on the ground in Lebanon passing on information to the Israelis,” she added.

Many people in Lebanon believe we are going to see more targeted assassinations.
