Palestinian ministry signs $2.4m agreement to support Gaza workers forcibly removed by Israeli occupation

The Palestinian Ministry of Labour has signed a cooperation agreement worth $2.4 million for the provision of emergency aid, including basic needs, for Gaza workers who were forcibly expelled by the occupation from their workplaces and were unable to return to Gaza, Wafa reports.

The ministry, in a press release, said under the agreement, the payments will be distributed over three months as emergency assistance to workers from Gaza.

The Palestinian government formed an emergency committee since the start of the aggression on Gaza to receive the workers, provide housing for them in various governorates, and provide them with the necessary needs.
