The Gaza correspondent for news outlet Al Araby Al Jadeed has been released by Israeli authorities, Al Jazeera cites media reports.

Diaa Al-Kahlout was one of dozens of Palestinians rounded up at gunpoint on December 7 in the northern Gaza city of Beit Lahiya.

The outlet reported that Al-Kahlout was released through the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) border crossing, staying briefly in a UN camp in Gaza before being transferred to a hospital for a health check.
