Josep Borrell, the EU foreign policy chief, has said on X that he discussed with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud “steps to translate the international consensus on the two-state solution into action.”

“The path will be difficult, but there is no alternative to peace,” he said.
