Israel hits Hezbollah targets in Lebanon
The Israeli air force says it carried out a series of overnight attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports.
These included a military compound in the village of Marwahin, in addition to a rocket launcher and other infrastructure in the village of Aita al-Shaab.
There are fears of a potential escalation in violence between Israel and Hezbollah and the opening of a new front of the conflict, as the Israeli military and Iran-backed group exchange fire over the border, according to Al Jazeera.
