US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said when he visits Israel this week he will tell Israeli officials that it is imperative they do more to prevent civilian casualties in Gaza, Reuters reports.

Speaking at a news conference in Doha, Blinken said Palestinian civilians must be allowed to return home and must not be pressed to leave Gaza.
