The Qassam Brigades have said that its fighters have “eliminated” eight Israeli soldiers in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, during an ambush, Al Jazeera reports.

The armed wing of Hamas also said that it had detonated an anti-personnel device targeting an Israeli force inside a building in Khuza’a, another town that lies east of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing and wounding of soldiers.

In al-Bureij refugee camp, the group said that its fighters destroyed two Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shell.
