The Israeli military says its forces launched air, land and sea attacks on over 100 targets across Gaza over the past 24 hours, Al Jazeera reports.
It said several Hamas military sites and warehouses storing weapons and other infrastructure used for operations were destroyed.
There was an operation in the Bureij camp in central Gaza to target a Hamas cell that attempted to attack an Israeli tank, and soldiers identified and destroyed several sites from which Palestinian fighters launched rockets into Israel, it claimed.
